With decades of professional experience, John Halpern has photographed numerous subjects ranging from rock stars to Corporate CEO's, as well as national advertising campaigns, magazine editorial spreads, and international corporate events.

John first gained recognition with his innovative panoramic imagery for music CD packaging. Working alongside some of the top art directors in the music industry, John has photographed over 60 albums, CD packages and tour books for acts such as The Eagles, Van Halen, John Mellencamp and OutKast. Two album packages he photographed received Grammy Award consideration in the 'Best Package' category. His live performance photos of Van Halen, for their CD "Van Halen ‘LIVE, Right Here Right Now" (Warner Bros.) , received a National Art Directors Award. Several of his photos originally shot in 1994 for promotion of the Eagles' "Hell Freezes Over" tour, appear in the rock documentary "History of the Eagles".

John's amiable personality and easy-going work style can change any difficult assignment into an enjoyable experience with great results. Comfortable working in any situation, John has shot in corporate offices, hospital operating rooms, college classrooms, museum galleries and with rock bands in the middle of the desert. His editorial work has appeared in numerous publications including Time, People, Oprah and Rolling Stone magazines.
